Yan Yun Sixteen Voices), this legend seems to have been given a provocative twist: when Liang Shanbo whispers 'From now on, I dare not look at Guanyin' to Zhu Yingtai — who is disguised as a male classmate — many players lost it. 'Isn't this just a BL (Boys' Love) storyline?' they cried.

The original post blew up the comment section instantly. Some fans were squealing with excitement ('I'm shipping them so hard!'), while others threw their hands up in despair ('It's hopeless — in every possible sense'). Sharp-eyed users dug up what they called the game's 'tradition' of butchering classic character names with deliberate one-character swaps to create cheeky innuendos.
