An NGA post was titled "Street Fighter 6 Character Animation Modules Allegedly Borrowed from Arknights: Endfield's New Character Mifu" — at first glance, it looked like Capcom had been caught copying again. But clicking in revealed the truth: it was the complete opposite.

The OP shared comparison videos from Douyin (TikTok China) and Bilibili, along with six screenshot comparisons of animation modules, in what appeared to be bait or a troll post. However, the video evidence actually proved the reverse: Endfield's new character Mifu clearly pays homage to (or straight-up copies) Street Fighter 6's character Ed, with strikingly similar special effect techniques.
The comments section saw through the OP's trick instantly. The first reply called it out directly: "Your title is backwards — it makes it look like Endfield is the original. Even trolling has to follow basic logic." Comment 15 was even more blunt: "Do we even need to say 'allegedly'? Endfield literally copied Ed. They didn't even animate the pull effects properly — just say it straight."
But rather than the content itself, everyone clearly enjoyed the masterclass in clickbait. Comment 4 nailed it: "Such a precise title — add [Mild Drama] and it'd be perfect." Comments 11 and 14 gave sarcastic praise: "You really understand titles" and "You really know how to bait replies." Someone even suggested adding "proofread" at the end to complete the quintessential NGA flavor.

Comment 12 was a masterclass in passive-aggressive sarcasm: "Our beloved Capcom — hardcore and anti-fanservice, lovers of brutal nature, never touching LGBTQ+, world's best at Japanese aesthetics, always prioritizing gameplay depth and never lazily mashing things together — has finally stooped to this level." Every word dripped with irony. Comments 2 and 7 chimed in with the classic meme: "So Capcom has another son now" and "Yet another beloved child."
Interestingly, comment 18 tried to push back on a technical level: "Setting everything else aside — if Mifu could actually pull off a Dream Combo, I'd be the first to deny this is plagiarism" — implying Mifu can't even perform those moves, which undermines the "copying" narrative. Comment 5 took the chaos further: "Actually, Street Fighter copied DNF's Street Fighter — Endfield just replicated Capcom's hype strategy."
The post wrapped up with "Goodbye, Zero little bro?" and "The old god has fallen, they say" — likely a tongue-in-cheek reference to a once-notorious NGA figure or meme. All in all, this wasn't really a plagiarism debate — it was a textbook NGA bait-posting masterclass: the more outrageous the title, the fiercer the replies.
