Princess Connect's 6th Anniversary Message Board Had ZERO Moderation — Blue Archive Players Stormed It, and Then Someone Dropped an Abe Shinzo Bomb

0 热度

An open message board with zero content moderation — sounds like a wholesome community event idea, right? That's exactly what Princess Connect (PCR) rolled out for its 6th anniversary. And then Blue Archive (BA) players showed up in force to 'celebrate' with their own 3rd anniversary cheer squad.

The original poster explained with a helpless tone: because there was no review system, the message board was flooded with BA players celebrating the game's 3rd anniversary, posting things like 'Hina's singing is so good' — a direct reference to a Blue Archive character. OP could only sigh and admit, 'Well, I guess the player overlap between PCR and BA is just that massive.' The official team has since taken the page offline, promising to reopen it later.

But the real bombshell wasn't the BA spam — it was what else was lurking on that unmoderated board. The top commenter on the NGA thread dropped the real tea: 'The Abe (Shinzo) one was way more heavyweight.' Another user added, 'The real star of the show was Abe-san.' And then someone delivered the ultimate hot take: 'Blue Archive? More like... not as good as Abe Shinzo.' Apparently the message board was serving content far wilder than anyone expected.

As for why the player overlap is so massive, one commenter broke it down: 'In China at least, a ton of BA players are former PCR veterans — the game systems are so similar that it's easy to pick up.' Another confirmed the two games are 'direct competitors.' The implication is clear: PCR has been hemorrhaging players to BA for a while now, and this incident just made it painfully obvious.

Someone asked the million-dollar question: 'How did PCR fall off? I remember it being huge a few years ago.' A veteran player fired back with brutal honesty: 'It's 2024 and they're still using the same gameplay loop — that's straight-up lack of innovation. The first time I played this kind of game was Dota Legends (刀塔传奇) back in like 2013-2014.' Translation: PCR's core combat system is essentially the same auto-battle gacha formula from a decade ago, with zero meaningful evolution.

One more commenter offered an interesting angle: 'I feel like there's plenty of non-BA heavyweight content too — should've used the word filter from the start.' In other words, BA wasn't the only thing flooding that board; all sorts of unhinged content slipped through. The BA spam was just the most visible part of a complete moderation meltdown.

As of now, the message board remains shut down with no announced reopening date. This whole fiasco is a masterclass in what NOT to do with community engagement: you open an unmoderated message board, you get an unmoderated message board. And honestly, was the BA invasion really malicious? Or was it just two gacha communities with massive player overlap doing what gamers do best — crashing each other's party and simping for their waifus?
