Famous Gacha Game Dev's Steam Account Exposed: Trash-Talking Rival Games, Friend List Full of Industry Insiders, and a Cringe-Inducing Username

A famous gacha game developer's Steam account was exposed, and the reviews he left on other games read like a perfect self-roast.

It all started when a user on NGA (a major Chinese gaming forum) stumbled upon a suspicious Steam profile. The account had posted rather opinionated reviews for several games — some of which were bluntly negative. The twist? One of the games he gave a thumbs-down to was later forced into a crossover promotion with his own company's title. The irony practically writes itself.

But reviews alone weren't enough to confirm the identity. The real smoking gun was the account's friend list, which featured a well-known figure in the gacha community known as "Shui Chazi" (水查子). The OP confidently stated: "If you still doubt this is the real deal, go check whether his first friend is Shui Chazi."

The OP then posted full screenshots of the reviews and pointed out with a smirk that one of the games in the list looked awfully familiar — the very same one he was later forced to collaborate with. In other words, he trash-talked a game online and then had to team up with it for a promotional event. The boomerang came back and hit him right in the back of the head.

Another user shared additional screenshots of the friend list, writing "more insider connections spotted, pretty sure it's him," and delivered this devastating punchline: "He can't even qualify as the Bi Zhifei of gacha games now." Bi Zhifei is a famously terrible filmmaker in China — the comparison was brutal, to say the least.

The comment section was an absolute riot. One user remarked, "Every sentence sounds like it's describing his own games." Others were stunned by the username itself: "He actually uses a name like that? And goes around reviewing games publicly with it? I'm cringing so hard my toes are curling." Another bluntly asked, "What kind of idiot picks a name like that — and if it really is him, that makes it even more insane."

Some took a more philosophical angle: "Looking at his reviews, it feels like he just can't get into new games anymore. Diagnosed: digital performance anxiety." And then there was the conflicted fan: "If this is real, I don't want him to go down like this. I thought he had nothing left, but turns out he was quietly preparing another spectacle."

Based on the evidence so far — especially the industry connections in the friend list — the identity is all but confirmed. A game developer using a mortifying username, leaving snarky reviews on competitors' games, only to have the internet dig it all up for the world to see. Honestly, this storyline is more entertaining than anything in his actual games.
