Here's what went down: the latest episode of STN Express featured an infamously meme-worthy game with hilariously bad design — think having to use a mouse to move and keyboard to aim, needing to press the reload button 150 times in a row just to reload, and the game requiring a constant internet connection at all times. In short, a "masterpiece" overflowing with absurdity.

But here's the kicker — that very same episode also included a paid promotional segment for White Path Corridor (白荆回廊), a game that already had a shaky reputation among players. So the original title created an awkwardly suggestive effect that practically begged viewers to connect the dots.

Sure enough, within just a few hours, the title was quietly swapped to this:

The speed and stealth of the rename gave off major "lady doth protest too much" vibes — a classic Chinese expression (此地无银三百两, literally "300 taels of silver buried here — nothing to see") meaning the very act of covering something up only draws more attention to it. The original poster couldn't help but point out the irony.

The comment section erupted. One user cut straight to the point: "Probably got disciplined by the sponsor." After all, if you're taking someone's money for a promotion and your title could be read as calling their game trash, of course the sponsor is going to have a meltdown.

Another commenter hilariously role-played the confrontation: "How dare you trash our game in the title while promoting it?! — I didn't trash anything! — Please, I know exactly which 'trash game' you're talking about."
