Girls' Frontline 2 Character Has a Tiny Shoe Hidden Under Her Foot — Dev Laziness Exposed as Mods Nuke All Negative Posts from Main Board

0 热度

Girls' Frontline 2 strikes again — and no, it's not a balance disaster or a lore meltdown this time. Instead, eagle-eyed players found a tiny, comically miniature shoe literally stuck to the underside of a character's foot. The post was nuked from the main mobile gaming board by mods, so the OP had to flee to the drama/gossip board just to share the find.

Let's start with the star of the show — SPAS-12. From her normal angle, she looks perfectly fine:

But the moment you tilt the camera, something bizarre appears clinging to the bottom of her foot:

Shocking! It's a shoe — scaled down to roughly 1% of its original size — just blatantly stuck there on her sole.

The comment section absolutely lost it. One player nailed the diagnosis: "Some genius programmer probably just scaled the shoe model down by 100x to save time. Why not just make the shoe instance transparent?" Another fired back: "Don't ask — the answer is outsourced crunch."

Others went full meme mode with Chinese wordplay. "穿小鞋" literally means "putting tiny shoes on someone" but is an idiom for secretly sabotaging or making life difficult for someone. So of course someone quipped: "So they're literally giving the character 穿小鞋 (sabotage shoes), huh?" A lore nerd even cooked up a whole narrative: "The sadistic Commander gave the T-Doll 穿小鞋, the T-Doll couldn't take the humiliation and left Griffin — it all connects now!"

Some players also roasted the overall quality: "The black stockings have a nice texture — a thick, premium cheap pantyhose vibe." And pointing out the laziness: "They couldn't even be bothered to tuck the tiny shoe inside the toe area after shrinking it."

One commenter drew a legendary comparison: "This is on the same level as Bethesda putting train cars on NPCs' heads to simulate trains. I get it now — Bethesda = MICA Team." Both companies clearly subscribe to the "if it works, don't touch it" school of 3D modeling.

But beyond the modeling hilarity, what really tilted players was the mod crackdown on the mobile gaming general board. As one user put it: "They delete GFL2 negative posts so fast it's insane" — and another noted: "It feels weird not seeing any GFL2 posts on the main board anymore." The very reason this "tea" ended up on the gossip board is because every thread about it on the main board was speed-deleted.

All in all, the tiny shoe is a small meme — but it speaks to bigger issues: rushed, possibly outsourced modeling work, plus heavy-handed mod censorship that only makes things blow up even bigger. As one commenter perfectly summed it up: "Small tea, big laughs." Classic Streisand effect in action.
