Girls' Frontline 2 Drops a Pre-Launch Stinker: Watch 1.5 Hours of Livestream for 50 Gems — And It's Limited Quantity

0 热度

Locking in the "No.1 drama spot" even before launch? Girls' Frontline 2 (追放, GFL2) just proved once again why the community says the studio head always delivers — and not in a good way.

Here's the deal: right before GFL2's official launch, the team announced a livestream reward system. The mechanic is straightforward — you watch the stream and claim rewards at intervals, but you need to sit through the full 1.5 hours to collect everything.

The NGA post blew up instantly. One player fired off: "Can't you just drop a redemption code in the stream? Why are you still so ridiculously stingy?" Another did the math and lost it: "50 gems for 90 minutes of my life? Are you out of your mind?"

Here's the kicker — 50 premium gems in GFL2 doesn't even cover a single gacha pull. As one commenter put it with visible pain: "Not even one pull..." And if that wasn't bad enough, the rewards are LIMITED QUANTITY. "Don't complain it's small — it's also capped," one player quipped, rubbing salt in the wound.

Naturally, players started stacking GFL2 against the competition — and it got ugly. "Compared to this, Arknights is the most humane — they don't care if you watched or not, rewards go straight to your mailbox. W." Even Twitch campaigns only take about 30 minutes to max out rewards; GFL2 tripled that for a fraction of the payoff.

Some tried to play devil's advocate: "It's just crumbs, like daily login rewards in other games — give too much and people complain they're forced to log in." But the real existential question from the crowd was: "What's even the point of making us watch for 1.5 hours? You need the viewership numbers to flex?"

One copium-huffing player asked, "Can I just AFK in the background?" — but buddy, the rewards are first-come-first-served with limited stock. Whether there's anything left to claim is a whole different question.

The real entertainment came from veteran players making their predictions: "The studio head's performance is always consistent. Once the game goes live tomorrow, calling it now — guaranteed No.1 drama on the forum." Another chimed in: "Absolutely. I can't wait for the 追放 (Pursuit) meltdown buffet."

GFL2 hasn't even officially launched yet, but this livestream reward fiasco has already put the community into full popcorn mode. As for whether bigger drama awaits at launch — given the track record of Sunborn and its infamous studio head, this is probably just the appetizer.
