Recently, ticket sales for the Genshin Impact concert tour have sparked outrage among fans due to the stark disparities between the Shanghai headlining show and local tour venues. Critics point out that the Shanghai show offers generous merchandise for all ticket tiers, whereas tour venues offer nothing more than a paper ticket stub, creating a perceived 'regional discrimination.'

Beyond the gift discrepancy, the pricing structure is also under fire. Players report that a 432 RMB ticket in Shanghai includes a full set of gifts, while a premium 1080 RMB ticket in other cities only grants a game code and a ticket stub. Fans have labeled this a massive rip-off for those outside the Shanghai bubble.

The situation worsened as fans discovered that the orchestral quality is fragmented. Reports suggest the developer has hired different, lower-tier ensembles for various cities, with some programs missing key traditional instruments. Fans are mocking the tour as an 'outsourced concert' (a term used to describe low-effort, low-quality third-party content), accusing the company of greed.
