Recently, Yuzhong, CEO of Sunborn Network, gave an interview that captured the attention of the ACG (Anime, Comic, and Games) community. During the interview, it was revealed that the development team for 'Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium' has grown to over 200 people, with development costs having long since exceeded 100 million RMB. Initiated in 2017 and having undergone several tests, the project's progress is a major topic of interest.
Beyond the core project, Yuzhong outlined the company's current portfolio, including 'Girls' Frontline', 'Girls' Frontline: Neural Cloud', 'Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery', and the highly anticipated 'The Wandering Earth' mobile game. While Yuzhong mentioned 'The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom' as his favorite game this year, players are more concerned with how the company plans to deliver on these ambitious promises.

The community response has been mixed. Some players are skeptical of the massive development budget, suggesting the long cycle implies inefficiency. Conversely, die-hard fans praise the quality of the 3D models in 'Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium' as industry-leading, with some jokingly expressing their excitement for character designs.

However, hardcore fans have also provided feedback on model details, noting that certain aspects—such as the character's feet in CG cutscenes—still require optimization. Regarding the interview, users expressed a cautious sentiment, with some using local internet slang like 'BYD' to call out the developer's perceived shamelessness, urging the company to stop over-promising and start proving their worth with real in-game performance.
