A year ago, following the 'Internal Hate' (an internal development conflict controversy) scandal, the developers promised to collaborate with Fuchuan, a top-tier former artist, to create a prestige skin as a form of compensation for the community. They even purchased search trends to dampen the heat. However, a year later, when the drafts for the new skin were revealed, the quality was widely criticized by players.

Faced with player dissatisfaction, the developers issued a late-night announcement claiming that for various reasons, no collaboration with Fuchuan was actually finalized. This reversal was seen by players as absurd 'gaslighting'—using the artist's name to generate hype and then deflecting blame onto the artist when the drafts were poorly received.

Long-term players pointed out that the draft styles significantly deviated from Fuchuan's signature aesthetic (such as her iconic work on the character Shiranui). Before the official announcement, the community was rife with defenders labeling critics as 'deifying the artist' or claiming Fuchuan's skills had declined, adding to the frustration over the company's manipulative PR tactics.

The community consensus is that this is more than just a skin design issue; it highlights the toxic management and PR style of the development team. Fans are furious that the developers used the artist's name for clout while failing to follow through, and then seemingly encouraged a backlash against the artist to deflect responsibility.
