
Recently, 'Justice Online Mobile' has dominated the scene with aggressive marketing and strong performance, putting massive pressure on other wuxia-themed MMORPGs. While 'Justice' continues to lower prices, 'Moonlight Blade Mobile' has taken a drastically different, and highly controversial, approach.

The game recently launched a multi-stage 'welfare' event. Initially, players earned 'stamps' through simple daily check-ins. Just as players expected to get free items worth about 40 yuan, the final stage of the event was revealed. The 'surprise' turned into disappointment: without spending money, it became impossible to redeem even basic rewards.

To make matters worse, the detailed event page showed an incredibly high paywall, requiring players to spend up to 1,174 yuan to obtain core rewards. This predatory monetization strategy, especially while facing intense market competition, has left the player base furious.


The community reaction was immediate and harsh. Players are mocking the developers for allegedly 'cashing out before quitting,' while others argue that such 'fleecing the loyal player base' approach will only accelerate the game's decline while their competitors continue to grow.
