The center of the drama is the recently launched periodic event, which players claim is explicitly designed to force the use of the latest featured banner characters.
According to user reports, the event spans 18 stages, with the difficulty spiking at N15. The final stages prevent the use of support characters and feature bosses specifically designed to counter common playstyles—such as requiring high-frequency hits or imposing high 'hit count shields'—making the content extremely frustrating for those without the featured 'Meta' unit.
Furthermore, players are annoyed that despite the recent addition of auto-battle and 4x speed in other game modes, this event is still locked to 2x speed (the developers promised a fix, but it hasn't been implemented yet).
