The recent launch of 'Blue Protocol' turned into a total disaster as the influx of players completely crashed Bandai Namco's server infrastructure. It appears the company uses a unified authentication gateway for both PC and mobile titles, meaning when the game went down, it took a wide range of other mobile games down with it.

Players reported that the game launcher was throwing constant errors. After wasting time cycling through multiple VPN nodes, users realized the issue wasn't on their end—the 'Bandai ID' login portal was completely overwhelmed, leaving players stuck in an infinite loading loop. Even titles like 'The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls Starlight Stage' (CGSS), a collaborative project with Cygames, were caught in the crossfire due to their dependency on the shared Bandai authentication system.
Twitter is currently flooded with complaints from frustrated players. Meanwhile, some community members noted that other titles like 'Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2' (GBO2) seem to be unaffected and are running normally.
