A recent market report from AppMagic revealed the financial performance of 'Honkai: Star Rail' during its first month. As of May 26, the game generated $132.3 million in mobile in-app revenue (net of platform fees and taxes). For comparison, 'Genshin Impact' reached $245 million in mobile revenue during its first 30 days, according to Sensor Tower.

Regionally, China accounted for 34% of the revenue, followed by Japan at 26%, the US at 15%, and South Korea at 8%. Notably, the global revenue per download (RpD) stood at $6.3, with Hong Kong showing particularly high spending power at $20.6 per download, surpassing both Japan and Singapore.

The community's response was swift. Players noted that these figures rely on AppMagic's tracking, which excludes the massive PC player base and revenue from China's fragmented Android market. Fans speculated that with those channels included, the game’s return on investment could be much faster than the data suggests, with some joking that the game might have already broken even in its first month.
