Recently, the Google Play Store faced a massive backlash for hosting a mobile game titled 'Slavery Simulator.' The game, which allowed players to trade enslaved people and inflict various forms of torture on Black characters, sparked intense public fury in Brazil.

Launched on April 20th, the game accumulated over 1,000 downloads and held a 4/5 star rating before being pulled. In a shocking oversight, the store labeled it as suitable for 'All Ages.' Activists and lawmakers condemned the game as blatant racism. The Brazilian prosecutor's office has since launched an investigation into how the game passed the store's review process, demanding accountability.

In the gaming community, reactions were mixed. Some questioned the platform's review standards, while others cynically joked that the game was too 'conservative,' suggesting it should instead be rebranded as a 'corporate wage slave simulator' to better reflect reality. Meanwhile, many users flooded the comments section searching for direct download links, claiming they wanted to play it for 'historical research.'
