【Snowbreak: Containment Zone】Gacha Rewards and Character Constellation Mechanics Spark Controversy

0 热度

Recently, as the PC version of 'Snowbreak: Containment Zone' launched its open test, a player voiced frustrations on NGA regarding the character progression system. The user highlighted that pulling a duplicate 4-star character only grants 30 fragments, meaning it takes ten duplicates to fully max out a character's constellation (often referred to as 'mingzuo' or 'constellations' in Chinese gacha gaming), prompting accusations of greedy monetization tactics.

Regarding rewards, the user noted that after completing the first chapter, only 10 pulls were provided, while the beginner banner requires 40 pulls to reach a guaranteed SSR. With a base rate of 0.7%, an 80-pull hard pity for characters, and a 60-pull pity for weapons, the high cost of 160 diamonds per pull compared to the 20-diamond reward for first-time level clears led the user to uninstall the game and suggest that developers should consider removing the weapon banner.

In response, community opinions were mixed. Some players clarified that 5-star characters have a more accessible constellation system, while veteran players argued that this fragment-based progression is quite common in the genre, citing games like 'Honkai Impact 3rd' as a point of comparison to refute the claim of extreme difficulty. Others suggested that the economy and daily/weekly rewards might be better than initially perceived, advising a 'wait and see' approach.
