Player Faces Game-Breaking Bug and Turns to 'Third-Party Hacks' for a Fix: A Community Investigation

0 热度

Recently, a controversial incident stirred up the community. A player claimed they encountered a game-breaking bug in 'Honkai: Star Rail' and, after allegedly receiving no timely response from customer support, decided to hire a 'tech shop' on Taobao to use cheats (referred to as 'kējì' or 'technology' in the Chinese gaming community) to modify their character's coordinates. The move left many spectators stunned, wondering if the player's account would be banned shortly after.

However, as users dug deeper, the story began to smell fishy. The original poster's strange behavior in the comments, the suspiciously edited video footage, and the suspiciously fast 'fix' led many veterans to suspect this was an 'RPG'—Chinese internet slang for a staged, attention-seeking post. The original video has since been deleted, though some users managed to archive it.

Regarding the bugs, community members shared their own experiences, such as freezing at Calyx nodes, clipping through the floor, or crashing during rapid character switching. Yet, the consensus remains that regardless of bugs, using third-party hacking tools is a line one should never cross. While slow customer support is certainly a point of frustration, it is by no means an excuse for cheating, and the player's 'impatience' may ultimately cost them their account.
