Recently, players discovered that a character's costume pattern in 'Wachuan Fenghualu' appeared to be a direct copy-paste from the game 'Touken Ranbu'. Comparison images revealed that the pattern is nearly identical to the signature emblem of 'Kashu Kiyomitsu', a highly popular character from 'Touken Ranbu'.

Following the outcry, the developer modified the pattern. The community was stunned, noting that as one of the starter swords (a 'starting trio' character), the emblem of Kashu Kiyomitsu is iconic. Players sarcastically remarked: 'It is truly ridiculous for a game marketed as traditional Chinese style to plagiarize assets from a Japanese sword-themed game.'
Commenters joked that the plagiarism went unnoticed for so long simply because 'Touken Ranbu' is considered relatively 'hu' (a slang term meaning niche or lacking mainstream popularity) in China. Many expressed frustration at the developer's apparent laziness in asset sourcing and confusion over why there were voices suggesting the victim should be the one to initiate contact.
