New Drama: Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds Licensed by Tencent, Promises of 'Low Grinding/P2W' Trigger Community Skepticism

0 热度

Recently, it was revealed that Tencent will be the domestic publisher for 'Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds'. The publisher promises to deliver a 'non-grind, non-P2W' experience, claiming they will remove auto-pathing and add exploration easter eggs and housing mechanics. This is an attempt to pivot away from the game's original reputation abroad as a 'mobile-exclusive idle auto-play simulator' that aggressively drains players' wallets.

The community response on NGA was overwhelmingly cynical. Users are questioning whether the combination of Tencent's infamous management style and the game's inherently predatory core can truly result in a fair experience. Comments range from mocking the 'promise' as merely condensing dozens of microtransactions into fewer, larger ones, to dismissing the claims as typical corporate fluff. Many are already waiting to watch the inevitable post-launch fallout, with some jokingly referring to it as a game meant solely for gold-farming bot studios.
