Gossip: World of Warships April Fools' Prank Features Eula from Genshin Impact

0 热度

The international version of 'World of Warships,' operated by Wargaming, pulled off quite an April Fools' prank. Players discovered a fake 'developer blog' site featuring seemingly legitimate ship data and tech trees, which turned out to be an elaborate hoax.

The facade quickly crumbled. Beyond the misspelled company name, the site was riddled with trolls. A button labeled 'EULA' (Final User License Agreement) leads not to legal text, but to a picture of Eula from 'Genshin Impact,' a pun based on the phonetic similarity.

The antics didn't stop there: the 'Privacy Policy' triggers a classic rickroll-style video, while the 'Forum' link directs users to a bizarre video featuring Belfast from 'Azur Lane.' While 'World of Warships' has collaborated with 'Azur Lane' before, the chaotic nature of this prank impressed the community.

The community response was highly entertained. Players noted that Wargaming is known for its trolling, with some veteran players joking that since past April Fools' jokes eventually made it into the game, maybe 'World of Warships' will launch Eula before 'Genshin Impact' does.
