Kuro Games Copying Allegations: Official Web Page Uses Uneditable Images to Mask Content

0 热度

Recently, Kuro Games has found itself embroiled in another plagiarism scandal. A player on the NGA forums alleged that a specific promotional event page featured copied text. To prevent players from scrutinizing the page logic via F12 browser developer tools, the developer allegedly rendered the controversial text as an image, making it impossible for front-end users to edit or inspect it.

The community quickly mobilized to investigate. Multiple players confirmed that the text on the PC web page cannot be edited because it is essentially just an image file, meaning only the backend developers hold the power to change it.

The core of the dispute lies in whether this was a blunder by Kuro Games or an issue on Bilibili’s (referred to as 'Uncle' / 叔叔 in Chinese slang) side. By comparing it with the event rules of other games, users noted that the wording seems bizarre for the platform. As the discussion evolved, community members suggested there is no 'plot twist' here, and the evidence has only made the plagiarism allegations look more damning.
