Recently, the Chinese server of 'Ensemble Stars!! Music' caused quite a stir with a new banner announcement. The developers combined three previously rerun-exclusive limited banners into one, but added some suffocating 'adjustments' to the mechanics.

First, while the total rate-up remains 1%, splitting it between three cards dilutes the chance for a specific card to about 0.33%. The most absurd change is the 300-pull pity system—previously, players could choose the card they wanted, but now, it rewards a 'random' card from the pool. Unless a player is missing all three, the banner is extremely unappealing. Furthermore, the 300-pull cap led to players sarcastically mocking the devs for being 'too considerate' to prevent 'suckers' from spending too much.
The comment section is filled with outcry. Players mocked the developers, saying, 'He is so kind, he's afraid we'll waste our money!' Veteran players recalled being frustrated by 'stabbing the clairvoyance' (referring to developers ignoring the foresight provided by international servers) and having quit the game. Others simply sighed at the constant questionable management, declaring that 'the Chinese server is truly doomed.'
