Recently, Kuro Games released a survey for their upcoming title 'Wuthering Waves', which left players feeling that the questions were quite 'subtle' yet intrusive. The survey doesn't just ask about general gaming habits; it digs deep into player activity and, more notably, their spending history in competing games and the developer's own previous titles.

The community response has been mixed. Many players complained that the survey was excessively long, requiring over 60 answers, with some finding the financial probing quite blunt. When some users asked why there were no questions about spending in the developer's previous game, 'Punishing: Gray Raven', others clarified that the survey uses a logic branch—if you select the game in the beginning, it will later ask for your spending details. One fan even jokingly pointed out that Kuro missed a golden opportunity by not asking about spending in 'Otome' games (romance simulation games aimed at women), lamenting that they spend the most money there, but the developers didn't even bother to ask.
