The Disastrous Launch of 'Dawn: Moment of Victory': Server Crashes, Game-Breaking Bugs, and Questionable Management

0 热度

As a long-time fan of naval-themed games (known in the community as 'Navy Mulu'), I couldn't resist checking out this new title to see if it could actually compete. To put it simply: the launch has been an absolute disaster.

An update on March 17th revealed that the compensation for the server crashes—random SSR characters and 30 pulls—was hardly reaching players. Even more outrageous was the internal economy exploit: a 6 RMB pack allowed players to infinitely farm SSR characters and skin currency. The developer's solution? A massive ban wave instead of a rollback or actual fix, sparking outrage among the user base.

The ship naming censorship is equally baffling. Unlike Azur Lane, which mostly restricts specific Japanese ships due to historical sensitivity, this game has applied a 'blanket censorship' to every single ship, including those from Allied nations. Players are left playing a guessing game to identify their own ships (as seen in the images), and the in-game rename feature is completely broken, preventing even basic customization.

The skin and progression systems feel like relics from five years ago. Skin vouchers cannot be purchased with standard premium currency; they are locked behind specific bundles with purchase limits, preventing players from spending freely. Furthermore, the classic resource-based ship building system is heavily gated: you cannot even attempt to build an SSR ship until completing Chapter 5, rendering the initial 'starter' building tickets useless on day one.

Comments from the community are brutal. Many criticize the outdated art style and the combat mechanics, which resemble low-budget Flash browser games. Users are shocked this is a 2023 release. Between the lag, the failed payments, and the scripted, unhelpful customer support, the consensus is clear: 'Run away while you can.'
