The 'gossip board' has been quiet lately, so let's check out the 'Annual Victimhood Champion' in the dress-up game scene: 'Dollhouse'. Developed for five years, this 3D BJD-focused game couldn't secure a license, forcing them to adopt a 'permanently free + ad-supported' model.

Initially, players were sympathetic toward the indie team, even asking for more ads to support them. However, the developers pushed their luck by requiring players to 'invite 3 new friends' to unlock outfits. When pushback occurred, they introduced ad cooldowns and aggressive, intrusive ads that auto-downloaded software. Their response was merely 'playing the victim' to justify poor management, igniting public rage.

In a second statement, the team explicitly blamed players for their low revenue, accusing them of watching the same ads repeatedly. Meanwhile, users reported severe device overheating and privacy leaks due to shady ad partners. Though the dev promised fixes, the rogue auto-installing ads remained a persistent issue.

The final twist came from the CEO, whose arrogant social media history was dug up. Under immense pressure, he issued an apology and resigned, though he didn't miss a chance to play the victim one last time while exiting the project.
