Recently, the dress-up mobile game 'Life Makeover,' developed by Archosaur Games, launched its beta test. Drawing comparisons to established titles like 'Shining Nikki,' it generated buzz for its visuals, but its debut performance left much to be desired.

As soon as the servers opened, they suffered immediate crashes. Many players were kicked out while customizing their characters and were forced into long wait queues upon trying to reconnect. One player remarked, 'It's embarrassing that the beta servers crashed immediately.' Some community members jokingly suggested that even NetEase, a major developer known for their own server issues, would be impressed by these massive queues.

The frustration was compounded by a chaotic activation code distribution process. Many iOS users complained that while they received download links, they didn't receive the actual activation codes required to enter the game, with some finding their test codes buried in spam folders. Players expressed disbelief that a limited-access test for only 20,000 people could result in such a complete technical failure, labeling the experience as a 'retro' style server collapse.
