Recently, the project known as 'Project Sea' (reportedly titled 'Shi Zhi Hai') launched a test server in Taiwan. Players who jumped in to spectate were surprised to find yet another match-3 game. Following the 'poke-the-ball' mechanics seen in 'Hua Jian Hui Jun Yan', it seems the genre is firmly stuck in the match-3 loop.

While the game features animated 5-star cards and decent production in cutscenes, the experience is marred by an abundance of live-action MV clips. This creates a jarring aesthetic clash between anime characters and real-life footage. One player joked they had to cover the screen when upgrading cards, labeling the choice as a result of the producer forcing their own personal tastes into the game.

The comment section is filled with mockery. Players criticized the blend of cartoon-style aesthetics with real photos as a 'visual disaster,' with many questioning whether this low-budget, retro DMM-style, or dated Korean-MMO-style game will even be able to survive in the current market.
