Recently, MICA Team officially announced a mobile game based on the sci-fi franchise 'The Wandering Earth'. However, eagle-eyed players quickly noticed that the game lacks a necessary Chinese publishing license (banhao), casting a shadow of doubt over its development status.

The community is vocal about MICA Team's 'multi-tasking' strategy—where they juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Fans are questioning whether the studio has the bandwidth to handle this alongside existing titles like 'Girls' Frontline: Neural Cloud'. The term 'hardcore', often used by the studio's head Yuzhong, has become a sarcastic point of criticism; players feel it is a tired label used to mask lackluster gameplay. Many fear the result will be just another generic 'base-building' simulator. Concerns are also raised regarding how a 'Commander' role, a common trope in MICA games, can realistically fit into the unified government setting of 'The Wandering Earth'.
