New Drama: 'Singularity' Devs Add 5-Star Pity but Accidentally 'Eat' the 4-Star Pity

0 热度

Recently, the game 'Singularity' has made headlines again for its absurd gacha update. Previously criticized for having only a 4-star pity system every 40 pulls, the long-awaited '5-star pity' update has shockingly 'swallowed' the existing 4-star pity entirely.

Players report that the devs introduced a 280-pull 5-star pity, but in doing so, removed the 40-pull 4-star pity. This drastic reduction in player value, combined with the fact that they didn't even bother to update the in-game text (which still references the old pity system), has led players to joke that the move is legally actionable for false advertising.

Moreover, the update was plagued with issues. It was delayed by several days, the compensation was a measly 600 'Ether' (roughly 2 pulls), and rumors suggest the entire team consists of only one programmer. By removing the 4-star pity, the devs are effectively punishing players who can't reach the 280-pull milestone, which the community has labeled as a 'scummy move'.

The comments section is full of mockery, with players stating, 'You can't imagine what kind of messes a small-studio programmer can cook up.' Critics also pointed out that the team doesn't even use the in-game notice board properly, treating the community as their QA team and setting a new low for gacha game development.
