Recently, a heated discussion about 'censorship' has erupted in the Naraka: Bladepoint community. The controversy stems from official adjustments to certain in-game character skins, specifically removing or limiting 'physics' effects (often referred to as 'RU-yao' or jiggle physics), which has infuriated the PC player base.
Some players expressed surprise, noting, 'I'm actually shocked it took this long to get censored.' For those accustomed to the frequent 'fabric-adding' and censorship found in mobile gacha games, this is routine; however, for hardcore PC gamers, these changes are seen as a serious breach of expectations.
The core of the dispute lies in the compensation plan. While the developers are offering refunds for the affected items, they are not providing actual cash. Instead, players are being refunded in 'Gold' (the game's premium currency), which cannot be gifted and must be spent within the game—leading many to criticize the move as a deceptive tactic to keep them spending.
What has truly pushed players to the breaking point is that the changes even impacted skins exclusive to the 'Ultimate Edition,' which were purchased with real money. Players feel they paid a premium for items that were essentially downgraded, leading to widespread backlash against the developers for failing their most dedicated supporters.
