The second event for NIKKE has recently ignited a storm of controversy. The event requires players to roll dice to move along a board to collect energy for gacha tickets. However, players statistically tracked 148 rolls without seeing a single '6'.

It is widely suspected that the developers mistakenly coded the random number generator to range from 0-5. Beyond the bug, the event's design is heavily criticized for its punitive mechanics: negative tiles subtract energy, and completing a lap with excess energy resets it to zero—a design some players joked feels like a 20-year-old prank.

Under pressure, the developer fixed the bug and issued 5 event tickets as compensation. Players mocked this as a 'mosquito leg' compensation (a term for negligible rewards) and questioned the team's competence, arguing that the designers seem intent on annoying players even while handing out small rewards.
