Recently, NetEase's tactical RPG 'Trinity Gears', centered on weapon-gijinka (anthropomorphism), has caught the attention of the gaming community. Players have noted that the game's UI design bears a resemblance to 'Arknights' (often called 'zhou' or 'porridge' in Chinese community slang). Regarding its sudden removal from the Bilibili platform, the developers claimed it was a 'temporary adjustment' rather than a project cancellation.

However, concurrent with these domestic maneuvers, the game has quietly entered a closed beta test (CBT) on Android in Japan. Oddly, this test has been extremely low-key, with no updates even on the game's official Twitter account, sparking rumors and speculation.

The consensus suggests that because weapon-anthropomorphism often touches upon sensitive military, political, and historical themes, securing a domestic publishing license (banhao) is nearly impossible.
