Gossip: Honkai Impact 3rd Lenovo Server Shuts Down, Players Migrating to Official Server

Recently, the Lenovo-branded channel server for Honkai Impact 3rd officially announced its closure. The developer will begin sending migration emails on November 10th to guide users through the data transfer process.

Regarding this shutdown, the original poster expressed mixed emotions, bluntly stating, 'Goodbye, prison. There were really so few active players left,' indicating that the ecosystem within the channel server had become stagnant for veterans.

As for where players will land, the comment section reached a consensus: channel server players will be merged into the 'Global Platform' server, commonly known as the official server. Experienced players further clarified that the 'Global Platform' server differs slightly from the 'Android Official' server, as the former supports logins from iOS devices, making it a fully cross-platform experience.

This move has drawn attention from players of other hit games. Many who feel restricted by their own channel servers (often referred to as 'B-servers' or Bilibili-branded servers) expressed envy, hoping for similar migration options. However, others cynically joked that such a move would only happen if 'Uncle' (a nickname for Bilibili's management) went bankrupt, implying it is highly unlikely.
