Recently, the strategy game 'War 2061' has caused a stir in the community. The developers launched a six-tier crowdfunding campaign, which triggered widespread backlash. Meanwhile, it was confirmed that the TapTap version of the server will shut down in December. Notably, the 'Suzaku' faction, teased as part of future development, is still unreleased with its power balance completely unknown.

The community's response has been overwhelmingly negative. Players have taken to sarcastic commentary, calling the game a 'Developer Cultivation Simulator'—meaning players are paying to support the staff's livelihood rather than funding the game itself. Many comments pointedly suggest this is a 'flesh bun thrown at a dog' (an idiom meaning money thrown into a bottomless pit with no hope of return), with some even suggesting the producer should drive a taxi to make ends meet. Veterans are particularly disheartened by the lack of transparency and sincerity in this operations strategy.
