Identity V's 2 Million Follower Bilibili Giveaway Controversy: Official 'Manual Selection' Confessed

0 热度

The 2 million follower milestone giveaway for 'Identity V' on Bilibili has caused a stir. Players noticed that the official account did not use any standard draw tools, which is highly unusual for public lotteries.

Even more suspicious was the list of winners. Among the 200 winners, a disproportionate number were well-known streamers (e.g., Baigui Huiliyi, Xiaoxiaoxiazamo, etc.) and professional players. Users found it statistically impossible to draw so many high-profile accounts out of a pool of 20,000, calling it a rigged 'fixed' giveaway.

As the outcry grew, the developers officially admitted at 23:21 that they had 'manually selected' the winners instead of using a randomizer. This confession left the community stunned.

Players mocked the situation, calling it typical behavior for NetEase (often referred to in the Chinese community as 'The Pig Farm' for their perceived exploitative practices). Many expressed that if they wanted to reward streamers, they should have done so openly rather than hosting a fake lottery that disrespected the average participant.
