Furthermore, fan artists lamented that they couldn't find inspiration in the new designs because they became too 'wholesome' and lacked the original dark aesthetic—specifically citing the ruined designs of the Gargoyle, Spectral Knight, and Blood Moon Apostle, mockingly suggesting the game should now be renamed 'Save the Werewolf'.
