A player posted on the NGA forums today, inviting everyone to join the CN server of World Flipper. The author claims that the localization team's operation is vastly superior to the original JP server, effectively fixing what players call 'underworld' (toxic/unfriendly) events through significant optimizations and generous rewards.

Take the time-attack events as an example. The JP version was notoriously sweaty, locking vital character-building resources like 'Star Steel' behind high-ranking competition. The CN server, however, lowered the barrier to entry, distributing resources to all players and changing competitive titles into participation rewards, making the game much more accessible.

Furthermore, the CN version introduced unique benefits like a free 40-pull event during Golden Week and significant banner optimizations. The local team removed predatory banners designed by the original JP devs to bait players into spending and introduced new-player-friendly pools that drastically improved the onboarding experience.

The author criticized the JP server's current state, noting severe power creep and a meta that forces players to pull for new units just to clear content. Comments in the thread were highly supportive of the CN publisher, with some quipping that 'it wouldn't be a surprise if the JP server shuts down soon' or that this game contains 'all the remaining conscience of the publisher (XD.Inc).' However, some others lamented having quit due to missing out on meta units early on.
