An official update announced that users who had successfully secured an order but failed to pay were granted a grace period to complete their payments. Even so, many players were still unable to access the payment portal.
The comment section was filled with disappointment. Some players reported that after failing to navigate the errors for a long time, the items were already sold out—all within three minutes. Some spectators mocked the event as 'Market Research Failure 2.0,' referring to similar disasters during the previous KFC collab. Others pointed out that since KFC and Pizza Hut share the same parent company, this was effectively 'Version 1.1' of their failure to predict demand.
