Recently, players on the NGA forum have been buzzing about the international test version of 'Phantom Blade 3'. Given that the original mainland server hasn't seen a substantial update in nine months, this new version, titled 'Phantom Blade: Executioners', seems to have addressed almost every major complaint raised by the community.
In response to curiosity about the new mechanics, testers shared that the game has introduced a Z-axis combat system similar to the prequel 'Rainblood: Town of Strangers', enabling true aerial combos. Furthermore, the progression system has been streamlined, significantly reducing the grind for materials, allowing players to reroll stats with silver, and providing official PC support.
The game also received a visual overhaul. Testers pointed out that the character art is more revealing, particularly the gacha character 'Landlady' (老板娘), and the gacha summoning effects have been upgraded with three distinct variations.
This 'new game' treatment for the international audience while the original server remains stagnant has sparked frustration among local players. Many jokingly refer to this as a 'special edition for foreigners' (洋大人特供), with some cynical users commenting that domestic players were essentially 'beta testers' for a version they don't get to play.
