Recently, a piece of old gossip surfaced on Weibo regarding the game 'Forlorn Odyssey' (Shi Kong Zhong De Hui Lv Ren). Players pointed out that some of the game's illustration assets were clearly lifted from stock photo websites, with the 'Nitu' watermark still visible at the bottom.

The most ironic part is that the image had been in the game since February of last year. The developers only acted to remove the watermark after players exposed it, acting as if nothing had happened. This is especially comical given that the game had previously publicly accused other titles of plagiarism, leading many to mock the blatant hypocrisy.

The community response has been heated. Some users jokingly referred to the eagle-eyed players as 'Leeuwenhoek' (a local slang for those who spot tiny details). While some speculated the fault lay with outsourced artists, the prevailing view is that the official QA and review team failed their duty. Others sarcastically noted that such art management issues are hardly surprising given the developer's track record.
