Sensor Tower has released its revenue ranking for Chinese mobile games in July. Honor of Kings and Game for Peace maintain their top positions, with Genshin Impact following closely. In the sub-ranking for anime-style games (二次元游戏), Genshin Impact leads by a wide margin, followed by Naruto Mobile, Onmyoji, Fate/Grand Order, Love and Deepspace, and Arknights.

However, the list triggered significant backlash. Players questioned the data accuracy for Genshin Impact, arguing that the figures were illogical. Despite strong sales performance during the Kazuha banner, the reported revenue dropped compared to previous periods. Many users speculate that Sensor Tower significantly reduced their 'coefficient' (multiplier for estimating actual revenue from store data).
The debate continued as users noted that the 'Two-Dimensional' (anime-style) genre seems to be underperforming overall, with only one title breaking into the top 10. Discussions also spilled over into debates about the classification of Diablo Immortal as a 'Chinese mobile game,' as well as bickering between fans of Honkai Impact 3rd and Punishing: Gray Raven regarding their respective rankings.
