Drama: Life Makeover TW Server ID Logic Mystery and Gameplay 'Stitching' Controversies

0 热度

Recently, a user on NGA pointed out a bizarre setting in the Taiwan server of 'Life Makeover': character names are globally unique across all servers, yet guild names are not. The author tested this by attempting to register characters like 'Di Ai Er Shao' across different servers, only to find the names were already taken. This forced a question: if the developer treats the game as one giant server for character IDs, why treat guilds differently?

The author admitted to 'rerolling' (resetting accounts to get good items) extensively just to obtain a specific green Hanfu set.

However, once the outfit was equipped, the model looked 'pregnant' and struck a pose reminiscent of 'Mother Earth.' On top of the aesthetic disappointment, players felt the launch rewards were stingy compared to the server milestone gifts.

In the comment section, players slammed the game as a 'stitched-up monster' (sewn-together mashup). The main storyline forces in detective gameplay reminiscent of 'Tears of Themis,' and users were particularly baffled by the censorship choices—characters don't take off pants when using the toilet, yet they are blurred out, leading to jokes that the censorship makes things feel more suggestive than the actual content.
