

Recently, the mobile game 'Cat Fantasy' launched its first major event just a week after release. Instead of a celebration, it turned into a 'prison-like' grind. To clear the event shop, players would need 147,520 tokens, requiring a staggering 18,440 stamina.
The issue is that stamina is essentially forced into these event stages. Even with daily refills, missions, and the monthly card, there is a massive deficit. The developers even released an 886 RMB stamina pack, effectively telling players: 'Pay up if you want the rewards.'
Players are outraged that even after paying, the rewards are mostly basic materials. The 'max-limit' SR character and skin are locked behind extreme point barriers. Furthermore, the friend system is so dead that players have to prune inactive accounts daily just to scrape together 50 stamina, highlighting the game's terrible player retention.
In the comments, community members mocked the situation: 'Are they hosting an event or just selling packs?' and 'Never seen developers so eager to cash out and run.' With the developer remaining silent, many players have decided to 'Run' (community slang for quitting the game permanently).
