Outrage Over 'Sky Fortress' Gacha Mechanics: Modern Mobile Game or Browser Game Legacy?

0 热度

A player recently voiced strong frustration regarding 'Sky Fortress', branding its 'cumulative recharge' system as the most disgusting mechanic they have encountered in a mobile game to date.

The controversy stems from the game's tiered rewards: spending 300 grants extra stamina, 1500 offers daily gacha pulls, and 4500 unlocks extra daily mission rewards. Furthermore, the game aggressively monetizes progression, requiring 11 duplicates for SSR max limit-break and 7 for signature weapons. Essential items like skill points, character rank-ups, and artifacts are all available for direct purchase.

“I spent 6 RMB in two weeks and feel like a total sucker,” the original poster wrote.

While some acknowledged the story and gameplay had potential, the blatant pay-to-win design caused significant backlash. Players also noted the use of familiar terms like 'Originium' (often associated with Arknights) which further fueled the criticism of the game’s lack of originality.

Commenters in the community were quick to weigh in, pointing out that this system is a legacy relic from the 'web-game' (page-based browser game) era. Many suspect the developers are essentially running a 'cash-grab and run' scheme, noting that similar games usually shut down within a year.
